WHO: Although this is geared towards students in grades 2 & 3, students in grade 1 are also permitted to join. However, some reading ability is highly recommended, and students must be prepared to participate in a half hour rehearsal.
(NOTE: All grade 1 classes will also be performing in the spring concert separate from and in addition to the primary choir. So your child does not need to join primary choir in order to perform in the concert.)
WHEN: Rehearsals are Wednesdays - 3:40-4:30pm (January 14 - April 16, 2026)
WHERE: Music Room
PERFORMANCE INFORMATION: Thursday, April 16, 2026 - 6pm
Students do NOT have to perform in the evening concert to be in the primary choir. There will also be a daytime performance intended mainly for the students at school. (The exact time of the daytime performance will be determined closer to the concert date.)
In order to create a uniform look, students performing in the evening are asked to wear black bottoms (either pants or skirt) and a plain white top. However, do not let the clothing request deter you from having your child participate. Students will be allowed to perform regardless of their clothing. Also, a school sweater/vest will be loaned on concert night. Please be sure to return it in good condition immediately after the performance.
